  • Subject line is too general.
  • The reader has to open the attachment to find out what it is about. The writer should have at least provided a brief description of what the attachment contains.
  • Part of the message is written in "telexese". The writer should take care to use complete sentences.
  • There is no previous message included so it is impossible for the reader to know what is being referred to.
